01What is stored
- A random device id and secret. Made on your device the first time you play, so your player stays yours.
- Your player name, creature and picture. Other players see them on Today's leaders and the daily league. A picture you upload is checked automatically for anything inappropriate (by OpenAI's moderation service) before anyone sees it, and other players can report a picture or name.
- Your account, if you make one. Your email, and a password you choose or your Apple or Google sign-in. With an account, your progress (levels, stars, Spellbook, charms, streaks and settings) is saved on our server so it follows you to other devices. Without one, it stays only on your device.
- Scores. Today's Puzzle results (casts, wrong guesses, time) and daily league points, with your player name, so the boards work.
- How the game is played. Simple notes such as when the game is opened, which levels are started, won or left, which helpers are used, words the game didn't know, and how you found the game (for example a shared link or a search). They are tied to your random player id, never sold, and used only to make the game better.
- Launch-list emails. If you ask to hear when the app is out, your email and which phone you chose, used for that one message.
02What is never done
- Your data is never sold.
- Your email is never shared or used for anything except the launch message you asked for.
03Ads
The game may later show ads through Google AdSense (on the web) or Google AdMob (in the apps). Those services collect and use data under their own rules, explained in Google's privacy policy. This page will be updated before any ads appear.
04Your choices
You can change your name, creature and picture at any time in the game. With an account, you can delete it yourself in the game (Menu → Account → Delete account). Anyone can also ask for their player to be deleted: see Delete account.
